Section 1
Term being defined
ADORE Process™.
The patented behavioural-trust methodology developed by Dr Anna Harrison that maps and measures buyer trust across six sequential milestones in the customer journey.
Section 2 · Definition
The ADORE Process™ is a patented six-milestone methodology developed by Dr Anna Harrison that maps how buyer trust builds across a customer journey — from arrival through marketing to the moment of truth at pricing — providing the behavioural framework for measuring and improving trust at each milestone before marketing capital is committed.
Section 3
Purpose
The ADORE Process™ exists to make buyer trust measurable, structural, and defensible.
Three things follow from the methodology:
- Marketing decisions can be evaluated against a quantitative trust signal, not opinion or campaign-metric intuition.
- The six milestones map the buyer's emotional journey to a repeatable measurement framework — applied identically across industries, scales, and business models.
- The methodology is auditable — every score, every verdict, every milestone traces back to the same structural logic.
ADORE Process™ is the substrate of every RAMMP-built diagnostic and product.
Section 4
Scope
This methodology applies to:
- Every RAMMP customer engagement — diagnostic-led measurement of buyer trust across the six milestones, pre-spend.
- The structural framework underneath the RAMMP Diagnostic Protocol, which operationalises the ADORE Process™ into a repeatable scoring procedure.
- External practitioners citing the methodology in academic, industry, or partner contexts — with reference to the canonical URI and the patent number.
This methodology does not apply to:
- Funnel-based marketing models — these treat the customer journey as a linear sequence; ADORE treats it as a structural map of trust checkpoints (see
/blog/why-funnels-leak-emotion). - Marketing-execution frameworks (campaign templates, growth playbooks) — these operate downstream of ADORE measurements.
Section 5
Components
The ADORE Process™ comprises six sequential trust milestones, numbered 01 to 06, each with a metaphor name and a plain name:
| # | Metaphor | Plain | The question the milestone tests |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | The Arrival | Marketing | "Are they getting here?" |
| 02 | The First Impression | Branding | "Do they like what they see?" |
| 03 | The First Date | Website | "Do they want to know more?" |
| 04 | The Honeymoon | Commitment | "Will they say yes?" |
| 05 | The Reality | Onboarding | "Did you deliver?" |
| 06 | The Moment of Truth | Pricing | "Did they pay?" |
Each milestone is a behavioural-trust checkpoint — a structural moment where buyer trust either compounds or leaks. The methodology is sequential: a failure at milestone 02 (Branding) propagates downstream; a strength at milestone 02 is a precondition for milestone 03 (Website) to operate.
Canonical naming pattern: <number> / <metaphor> / <plain> — e.g. 01 / The Arrival / Marketing.
Section 6
Outputs
The ADORE Process™ produces:
- A milestone-by-milestone breakdown of buyer-trust integrity (the input to the Brand Trust Score).
- A structural diagnosis of where buyer trust is leaking — identifying the specific milestone(s) requiring remediation.
- A repeatable framework for ongoing measurement: the same six milestones can be re-scored over time, producing a longitudinal trust signal for the business.
The methodology itself does not produce a score directly — that is the function of the RAMMP Diagnostic Protocol (which operationalises ADORE) and the Brand Trust Score (which is its quantitative output).

Relationship to other terms
ADORE Process™ relates to other terms in the RAMMP Standards ontology as follows:
- Operationalised by
RAMMP Diagnostic Protocol— the protocol applies the methodology in repeatable scoring procedures. - Documented in Digital Brand Romance (Business Expert Press, 2025) — the published book documenting the methodology in full.
- Protected by AU/NZ Patent 2021105053 (US pending) — the granted intellectual-property protection for the methodology.
- Underpins
Pre-Spend Diagnostic— the diagnostic is built on the ADORE structural framework. - Underpins
Trust Checkpoints— the six checkpoints ARE the six milestones in measurement form. - Enumerated in
RAMMP Standards— the canonical DefinedTermSet.

Version: 1.0 Last updated: 2026-06-03 Maintained by: RAMMP (Brisbane, Australia) Changelog:
- v1.0 (2026-06-03) — Initial publication of the canonical ADORE Process™ page (NEW per Step 6 D2). Six-milestone framework locked. Canonical naming pattern
<number> / <metaphor> / <plain>established. ADORE+ 5-dimension variant explicitly rejected. "Retention" / "Expansion" milestone combinations explicitly rejected (they are outcomes of the 6-milestone framework, not milestones in it).
